Embost allows for educational institutions to issue digitial degrees securely and easily. Once the degrees are delivered, the Registrar doesn't need to be contacted for verification. And if the student misplaces and needs a new degree, the Registrar can charge for the replacement and get that student a degree faster than printing and mailing another one.
How it works in the real world.
We use the latest technology to empower educational institutions to issue reuseable, tamper-proof and easily verifiable digital degrees to their students.
It's simple.
- The University or College simply uses Embost to create and deliver a digital degree to the student.
- The student can store the degree anywhere they'd like and forward it along to anyone. Let's say an employer.
- The Employer can take the degree and upload it to a trusted Embost Verification webpage located either on the University/Colleges website or any other University/College website that uses Embost open standard degrees.
- Once uploaded the Embost Verification webpage will simply report "Verified" or "Unverified". If the degree hasn't been tampered with in any way since it was originally issued, it will say "Verified". Additional information about the degree will be viewable as well. Such as issuing institution, date created and other infromation that could be used to do additional verification.
